Author Guidelines
Manuscript Submission Overview
The Jurnal Ilmiah Keperawatan dan Kebidanan Holistic Care (JIKKHC) publishes four types of scholarly articles:
• Original Research Articles
Original manuscripts (maximum 7,500 words) that present new and significant findings in the fields of nursing, midwifery, and health sciences.
• Short Communications
Brief manuscripts (maximum 2,500 words) describing new data or preliminary results that deserve rapid dissemination. The Editorial Board will prioritize and expedite the review process for this type of article.
• Case Reports / Clinical Reports
Case reports (maximum 2,500 words) that describe unusual or novel clinical occurrences that contribute valuable insights for nursing and midwifery practice. These reports may include a concise review of relevant literature. Case reports serve as practical, rapid communications among clinicians and researchers who may not be able to conduct large-scale studies.
• Technical Notes
Technical notes (maximum 2,500 words) present a brief description of a specific technique, clinical procedure, instrument modification, or digital application relevant to nursing, midwifery, or health care practice. The main criteria for acceptance are the novelty, validity, and potential impact of the method or tool.
The word count excludes tables and figures, but references should be included. The Editorial Board reserves the right to waive the word limit upon request to the Editor-in-Chief before submission.
Special Issues
The Journal of Nursing and Midwifery Holistic Care welcomes proposals for special issues devoted to a specific, well-defined theme in nursing, midwifery, or health sciences.
A proposal for a special issue should include:
-
The title of the special issue
-
A brief rationale explaining the theme and its significance
-
The submission deadline for contributing authors
Each manuscript submitted to a special issue will undergo the standard peer-review process and may be accepted or rejected based on reviewers’ recommendations.
For inquiries regarding the preparation and publication of special issues, please contact the Editor-in-Chief.
